Your Personal Style Manual

Welcome to to very own style manual, you know, the one you were supposed to be born with. Some women seem to have an innate sense for what looks good on them. They know exactly where to shop, what to buy, and how much to pay for it. You can be one of these women too! The trick is to do your homework.

Use the Style Manual to set up your own personal folder. Follow the directions on how to make your style manual and then add to it as you become more familiar with the site. Any time you find an article or suggestion that inspires you, print it out and stick it in your folder for future reference. If you are flipping through your favorite magazine, rip out the page and add it to your folder. The same goes for web sites and any notes you scribble down for yourself.

The point is to keep evolving and growing in your fashion sense. By keeping your personal Style Manual updated, you will stay motivated to be the best you possible. This "hands on" method may seem outdated to you. After all, this is a web site and you should be able to just store your information in the site- right? Wrong. Printing out the pages and keeping your folder updated by hand will allow you to have information on hand, whether you have an internet connection or not (like when you are preparing to go shopping or when you want to explain that perfect haircut to your stylist). Keeping all your information in one place also makes the experience more real for you, because you can hold your "Style" in your hands.

Directions

You need a folder or binder. A three ring hole punch is useful. Click on the links below and print out the pages. Place some blank pages in your folder (to scribble down notes to yourself). This may seem a little silly, but you can also literally "cut and paste" pictures of styles you like right onto your pages. Use your own system, just as long as it works well for you.

Calendar

Print out your blank calendar and use it to keep track of your beauty and style upkeep. Write your goals for the month, such as "Clean out my closet", "Complete the Ten Day Makeover", or even "I will exfoliate at least once a week". Pencil in any appointments you have and make sure you schedule time for yourself!

Contacts

Print out your contacts list and fill in information to keep handy so you can schedule beauty appointments.

Yearly Beauty Schedule

Use the printer friendly version to print out a copy for your Style Manual. The schedule is more of an idea generating tool than a strict rule to follow. It comes in handy if your the type who lets things pile up. It will keep you on track, almost like a To Do list.

Body Type

Find out what body type you are and print out the information so that you can easily know what kinds of clothes will look best on you.

Articles

Print out any articles you find useful.
